Huiying Ng explores links between urban agriculture, open/welcoming spaces for new imaginations of urban life, and community resilience. Sustainable modes of agricultural production and agroecological learning networks, particularly in Southeast Asia, interest her. She is one of the initiator of Foodscape Collective, and a co-founder of TANAH, a nature-food duo, and a member of soft/WALL/studs. She has a Master in Social Sciences (Research) from the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore, and continues her work as a PhD Fellow at the Rachel Carson Centre for Environment and Society in Munich.
