The Being@Home series started during the circuit breaker, when our usual in person gathering for well-being could not take place. Like so many others, we continue to hold space for one another during this time, aptly taking pause and sitting on what is means to be at home, in more ways than one.
The first edition was scheduled on Earth Day, a new moon, almost as if telling us that it is time to enter a new phase in our relationship with Earth. We sat in silence, shared our personal stories, offering one another generosity of presence, read poems that inspired us in relation to being at home and sang a few heart songs in honour of Mother Earth. Here are the poems we read.
